This leaflet contains important information for you. Read it carefully.
This medicine can be bought without medical prescription. However, it is necessary to take Dagravit 8 with precaution in order to obtain the expected results.

Dagravit 8 is a multivitamin.
Therapeutic indications:
Dagravit 8 is a multivitamin supplement containing: Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Niacinamide, Dexpanthenol, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C and Vitamin D. The balanced formula of Dagravit 8 is indicated in situations where vitamin supplementation with Vitamin A, B1, B2, Niacinamide, Dexpanthenol, B6, C and D is considered beneficial.
This being so, Dagravit 8 is indicated in the prevention and treatment of vitamin deficiencies such as growth disturbances in children and vitamin deficiencies in adults and children.
Do not take Dagravit 8
If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the active substances or to any of the other ingredients of Dagravit 8.
Take special care with Dagravit 8
The prolonged administration of high doses of vitamin A may cause hypervitaminosis. Vitamin A ingestion in high doses during pregnancy, particularly in the first trimester may harm fetal development.
The administration of high doses of vitamin D may cause hypervitaminosis.
This medicine contains castor oil which may cause nausea and diarrhea.
Taking Dagravit 8 with other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken other medicines, including those obtained without medical prescription.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Important information on some components of Dagravit 8
Dagravit 8 contains castor oil which may cause stomach upset and diarrhea.
Route of administration: Oral use.
Breastfed children: 4 to 8 drops/day
Children: 8 to 11 drops/day
Adults: 11 to 23 drops/day
Method of administration: pour the drops in a spoon and take the medicine before meals.
If you take more Dagravit 8 than you should
No cases of intoxication with this medicine have been described.
If you forget to take Dagravit 8
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. If this situation happens take the medicine as soon as you remember.
Effects of interrupting treatment with Dagravit 8
Not applicable.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the label of the bottle and on the outer carton after “EXP:”
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
What Dagravit 8 contains
1 ml = 30 drops
The active substances are:
Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) | 70 mg/ml |
Pyridoxine, hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) | 2 mg/ml |
Thiamine, hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) | 2 mg/ml |
Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D) | 400 I.U./ml |
Retinol, palmitate (Vitamin A) | 1000 I.U./ml |
Nicotinamide | 15 mg/ml |
Riboflavin, sodium phosphate <> 2 mg/ml Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) | 2 mg/ml |
Dexpanthenol | 4 mg/ml |
The other ingredients are: cetrimide, lemon essence, glycerol 85%, sodium saccharin, castor oil, tritriplex and purified water.

Dagravit 8 is available in the pharmaceutical form oral solution, packed in 30 ml brown glass bottle with tamper evident cap.
Pack containing a dropper bottle with 30 ml of solution.
